Stephen Davies Williams, 58, of Sullivan formerly of Windsor passed away Sunday (April 24, 2011) at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday in the Lovins-Lockart Funeral Home, Windsor with Rev. James McClarey officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will be in Ash Grove Cemetery near Windsor. Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.

He was born March 11, 1953 in Defiance, OH the son of David Watkins and Mary Elizabeth “Betty” (Davies) Williams.

He was a 1971 graduate of Defiance, OH High School, University of Toledo, OH in accounting and Ohio Northern Law School. Steve passed the bar exam on his first time. He worked for the State of Ohio, Arbor Health Care, Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Mattoon and the Duke Medical Center in Durham, NC.

He played the clarinet in high school and although he no longer played, he thoroughly enjoyed high school bands at ballgames. He had multiple childhood surgeries. He had driven thru every state except New York and Maine.

Steve semi-retired in 2006 and spent a lot of his time assisting his friend with multiple reconstructions. Steve loved life. He had and eventful and interesting journey.

Surviving is his brother, David Williams of Defiance, OH and sister, Susan Williams of Columbus. He also leaves behind his friend, Willa Campbell of Windsor and her animals, and his beloved Archie and Griffin.
