Mary L. Uphoff, 92, of Findlay passed away at 10:24 a.m. Tuesday (December 4, 2012) at the Decatur Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday in the Lockart-Green Funeral Home, Findlay with Rev. Tom Compton officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will be in the Findlay Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Findlay United Methodist Church or DMH Hospice.

She was born November 24, 1920 in Pickaway Township, Shelby County the daughter of T.A. (Tot) and Nettie Nicole (Marshall) Atkinson. She married Arnold H. (Cap) Uphoff October 10, 1941 in Shelby County and he preceded her in death August 3, 1986.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star in Findlay. She was a homemaker and helped her husband on the farm.

Surviving are her son, Tony (Deanna) Uphoff of Findlay; daughters, Linda (Don) Doehring of Windsor and Cynda (Steve) Bonnett of Sullivan; grandchildren, Sherri (John) Tomhave, Tanya (Jon) Youngman, Troy Uphoff, Trent Uphoff, Amanda Doehring (Dan Fryman), Darin Doehring, Nicole Schliker and Christina Bonnett; great-grandchildren, Austin, Abby, and Chase Tomhave, Ava and Ella Youngman, Brandon and Anthony Caudill, Trey and Hannah Schliker; great-great-grandson, Ian Caudill.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, Bill, Tom and John Atkinson and sisters, Bessie Cruit, Elsie Shaddock, Fannie Phillips, Alice Dawdy and Ruth Jones.
