Steven D. Temple, 56, of Wildwood, FL formerly of Windsor went to be with Jesus on February 19, 2014 at 4:06 p.m.
Visitation will be from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Lovins-Lockart Funeral Home, Windsor. Memorials may be made to St. Judes Hospital.
Steven was born November 22, 1957 in Great Lakes, IL the son of the late Gordon Temple and Jean Dugan. He married Lisa Henry December 17, 1992 in Vandalia.
Stevenís hobbies were working on his hot rods and taking his family to Coles County Speedway. He loved car shows, swap meets, riding his bike around and having family get togethers.
Surviving are his wife Lisa of Wildwood, FL; mother and step-father, Jean and Dennis Henry of Effingham; step-mother Emma Temple of Shumway; children, Melissa Reed, husband Gerald of Strasburg, Brandon Ingram, wife Toshia of Wildwood, FL, Britani Ingram of Mattoon, Shelbie Temple of Effingham, Shawn Hepner of Teutopolis, Miranda Temple of Wildwood, FL and Feather Temple of Wildwood, FL; grandchildren, KaLeene, Zachary, MacKenzie and Paige Reed of Strasburg, Chesney Simmons of Effingham, Dakota, Aden, Madalynn Ingram of Wildwood, FL, Austin and Carson Hepner of Teutopolis, Bradley Lucky of Missouri and Daetyn Wilborn of Mattoon; sisters Marilyn Dudley, late husband John of Effingham, Diana Fryer, husband Steve of Sullivan and Donna Gadd, husband Mike of Effingham; several aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gordon Temple, grandparents, Donald and Lillian Dugan and George and Ruby Temple, brother-in-law, John Dudley and cousin, Chris Barker.
