Edith E. Stoneburner, 85, of Beecher City passed away at 8:05 p.m. Sunday (Mar. 27, 2011) in the Lutheran Care Center, Altamont.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday in the Lockart-Green Funeral Home, Beecher City. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery near Beecher City. Memorials may be made to the Lutheran Care Center or the Beecher City Church of Christ Parsonage Fund. The family wishes everyone to dress in casual attire.

She was born January 28, 1926 in Shelby County the daughter of Daniel and Anna (Wakefield) Witt. She married Albert L. Stoneburner December 8, 1943 in Shelbyville and he preceded her in death January 28, 2002.

She was a member of the Beecher City Church of Christ.

Surviving are sons, Franklin Stoneburner, Wendell Stoneburner (Lois), Larry Stoneburner (JoAnn), Allen Stoneburner and David Stoneburner (Angela) all of Beecher City; 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 5 brothers, 3 sisters and grandson, Josh.

She will be missed by family and friends.
