Emily Suzanne Noffke, 90, of Stewardson, IL died at 7:45 a.m. Thursday (July 17, 2014) at the Heartland Christian Village, Neoga.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday July 21, 2014 at the Stewardson United Methodist Church, Stewardson, IL with Pastor Kathy Lewis officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Burial will be in the Stewardson Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Stewardson United Methodist Church. Brummerstedt Funeral Home, Stewardson is in charge of arrangements.
Suzanne was born on September 7, 1923 the only child of Edith and Earl Wilson. She married Lawrence Phillips in 1945 and he preceded her in death in 1948. She married Vincent Noffke on July 22, 1956 and he preceded her in death on December 29, 1999.
Suzanne was a lifelong member of the Stewardson United Methodist Church and was a pianist and Sunday school teacher for many years. She was a member of the Stewardson Night Home extension unit for over 50 years. She was an accountant for Beals Ford in Stewardson for many years.
She took pride in her home and that was her favorite place to be. She enjoyed all types of music.
She is survived by two daughters, Nancy Phillips Reynolds of Effingham and Pam Noffke (Kevin) Lock of Stewardson; grandchildren, Carolyn (Doc) Gardewine of Effingham, Charlotte (Eric) Conder of Grayson, Georgia, Jennifer (Tim) Swank of Tampa, Florida, Jill Stigers of Teutopolis, Ryan (Sara) Kramer of Strasburg, Misty (Bart) Williamson of Shelbyville; one step-grandson, Nicholas Lock of Sachse, Texas; ten great-grandchildren, Nathan, Casey and Wyatt Cushman, Hadley Conder, Morgan Swank, Makayla and Aiden Stigers, Braxton and Braelin Williamson, Ty Vincent Kramer and baby Kramer due in September; one great-great-granddaughter, Gabby Rinker-Cushman.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husbands, Lawrence Phillips and Vincent Noffke.
