Reginald E. (Pat) Maulding, Jr., 64, died Friday, April 6, 2012 at his home. Born March 17, 1948, Pat was the son of Reginald and Kathalene (King) Maulding, and is survived by wife Linda Maulding of Zirconia, NC; daughter Patricia Maulding of Herrick, IL; sisters Brenda Perkins of Thompsonville, IL, Donna Brown of Mattoon, IL, Joyce Phillips of Decatur, IL, Shannon Maulding of Chesapeake, VA and brother Michael Maulding of Windsor, IL. Preceding him in death were his parents and one brother, Jack.
Pat attended Warrensburg-Latham High School, and was employed by Norfolk Southern Railroad for 28 years before founding P and L Home Repair. An accomplished carpenter, Pat built or rebuilt most of the houses he lived in throughout his life. His hobbies included woodworking, carpentry and caring for animals, sharing his life with several cats and dogs whom he regarded as family. He was an avid supporter of St. Judeís Childrens Hospital. Pat was a warm and loving husband and father, had a wonderful sense of humor and will be dearly missed.

Cremation by Lovins-Lockart Funeral Home, Windsor, IL, with private services to be held. Gifts in his memory can be made to St. Judeís Childrens Hospital or the Humane Society.
