Helen A. Lofland, 95, of Mattoon formerly of Windsor passed away at 7:17 a.m. Sunday (September 14, 2014) at her residence.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Ash Grove Cemetery, Windsor with Pastor Jack Stoops officiating. Arrangements are by Lovins-Lockart Funeral Home, Windsor.

She was born October 12, 1918 in Cumberland County the daughter of Willis Oscar and Loda (Ingram) Gordon. She married Walter Dean Lofland February 9, 1935 in Shelbyville and he preceded her in death May 11, 2005.

She was formerly employed at Kerns Manufacturing and she loved to quilt.

Surviving are granddaughters, Connie Cyr of Mattoon and Tina Davis (Steve) of Reidsville, NC; great-grandchildren, Marci Adams, Mandy Rice, Steven Davis, Barkley Davis and Tricia Davis Strader; great-great-grandchildren, Austin Rice, Garett Rice, Kenliegh Davis, Morgan Davis, Wyatt Strader, Hadley Strader and Everette Davis; sisters, Jean Slifer of Effingham and Barbara Bridges of Windsor.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, Donald and sisters, Flo and Hazel.
