Ruby G. Kneller, 95, of Shelbyville passed away at 5:15 a.m. Wednesday (May 22, 2013) at the Shelby Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the Lockart-Green Funeral Home, Shelbyville with Pastor Don Jeffries officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery, Shelbyville. The family requsts caual attire. Memorials may be made to the St. Johnís Lutheran Church, Shelbyville.
She was born April 29, 1918 in Shelby County the daughter of John and Harriett (Davis) Agney. She married Elbert Thomas. She then married Art Kneller and he preceded her in death April 13, 1989.
She was a member of the St. Johnís Lutheran Church and attended the Lighthouse Tabernacle. She was a homemaker, formerly employed at Sta-Rite and at several restaurants in Shelbyville.
Surviving are children, Charles Thomas of Oklahoma, Juanita Brown of Effingham, Shirley Lofland of Lovington, Dennis Kneller (Linda), Barry Kneller (Cathy), David Kneller, (Marla), Brad Agney (Loretta) all of Shelbyville; half brother Murphy Hill of Shelbyville; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Dorothy Thomas, grandchildren, Skye Kneller, Unity Agney and Andrew Agney, brothers, Harley Agney and Robert Agney, sisters, Midge Thomas and Betty Warner and step-brothers, Ernest, James and Luther Hill.
