Jerald L. Hubbartt, 73, of Effingham passed away at 1:00 a.m. Saturday (May 28, 2010) at his sonís residence in Windsor.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the Hubbartt Cemetery near Beecher City with Rev. Dennis Warner officiating. Military rites will be conducted by the Shelby County Honor Guard. Lockart-Green Funeral Home, Beecher City is in charge of Arrangements.

He was born October 6, 1936 in Mt. Pulaski the son of James and Vera (Shannon) Hubbartt. He married Doris Edwards in 1956 and she preceded him in death in 1995.

He was a veteran of the US Army and the US Air Force. He was a member of the Disabled Veterans of America, American Legion and VFW in Robinson. He was a diesel mechanic for many years and formerly worked at the Union 76 Truck Stop in Effingham and Global Marine and Drilling in Houston, TX.

Surviving are son, Jeff Hubbartt of rural Windsor, daughter, Robin Hubbartt of Charleston; grandson, Zach Hubbartt of Windsor and sister, Janet Ervin of Southern Pines, NC.
