Lucille R. ďLouĒ Horn, 89, formerly of Windsor passed away at 9:10 a.m. Sunday (January 8, 2012) at the Manor Court of Clinton.

Visitation will be held at Lovins-Lockart Funeral Home in Windsor from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 13, 2012. Funeral services will be held at St. Paulís Lutheran Church in Strasburg on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in the Windsor Cemetery.

Lucille was born on August 27, 1922 in Strasburg, IL, the daughter of Frank and Alvena Bingaman. She was raised by her Uncle Jake and Aunt Lizzie Kull, Strasburg. She was a graduate of Strasburg High School. She was also a long-time member of St. Paulís Lutheran Church in Strasburg. She married James G. Horn, Windsor in 1940. Together they owned and operated Hornís Grocery Store in Windsor for 20 years. After they sold the store, the couple built homes for 20 years in many towns surrounding Windsor including a home for each of their four children. Mr. Horn passed away in April 2005.

She is survived by: children, James L. Horn, Chicago, IL; Brenda L. Keepes and husband, Steve, Belmont, NC; Connie J. Stirrett and husband, Dwane, Clinton, IL; and Debra A. Hilligoss and husband, Wes, Gays, IL; seven grandchildren including: Laura Walsh, Michael Horn, Sheila Villada, Greg and Scott Stirrett, and Kevin and Kelly Hilligoss; eight great grandchildren including: Caitlin Beheler, Ethan Villada, Reyse, Karsyn and Cade Stirett; Riley Stirrett; and Wyatt and Will Hilligoss. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Uncle Jake and Aunt Lizzie Kull, three brothers, Adolph, Walter, and Alfred Bingaman, and one sister, Agnes Bingaman. She also was preceded in death by several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, including: Warren and Wanda Elson, Don and Francis Horn, Mary Bingaman, Lenora Bingaman, and Helen Bingaman.
