Tony Hoover 55, of Pana passed away Friday (November 21, 2014) at the Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the Lockart-Green Funeral Home, Shelbyville with Pastor Ron Brown officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in the Tower Hill Cemetery with military rites by the Shelby County Honor Guard.
He was born June 25, 1959 in San Antonio, TX the son of Vernon Fredrick and Betty Jo (Woodworth) Hoover, Sr.
He served in the US Army.
Surviving are his daughter, Alicia Marie Moyer (Toby) of Pana; granddaughters, Alissa Mae Moyer and Lillian Maureen Moyer; mother, Betty Jo Morris of Mattoon; brothers, Bobby Charles Hoover of Cowden, Vernon Fredrick Hoover, Jr (Nancy) of Clarksburg, Johnny Hoover (Debbie) of Arkansas and Tommy Joe Hoover of Mattoon; sister, Betty Ann Hudson of Mountain Home, AR; former wife, Cheryl Christine Durbin (Tony) of Pana; mother-in-law, Cheryl Ann Beeson of Pana; grandmother-in-law; Alice Fisher of Tower Hill; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by his father, sons, Robert Leon and Anthony Lee Hoover and father-in-law, Steven Torbeck.
