Marilyn Jean Harris, 77, of Windsor died at 6:35 a.m. Thursday (September 13, 2012) in the Lakeland Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Effingham.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday in the Ash Grove Christian Church, Windsor. Visitation will be one hour before service time. Burial will be in the Ash Grove Cemetery, Windsor. Memorials may be made to the Lakeland Rehabilitation and Nursing Center or the Lincolnland Hospice. Arrangements are by Lovins-Lockart Funeral Home, Windsor.

She was born January 8, 1935 in Shelby County the daughter of Jasper and Mary Bernice (Clawson) Osterday. She married Albert Eugene Harris October 9, 1954 and he preceded her in death September 9, 1978.

She a devout Christian and member of the Ash Grove Christian Church. She assisted her husband over the years in operating gas service stations. She was an avid Cub fan, especially of Ron Santo and loved flowers, sending cards and spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving are son, Greg Harris (Connie) of Windsor; daughter, Dianne Miles (Gregg) of Windsor; grandchildren, Kyle Miles of Shelbyville and April Cummings (Kiel) of West Des Moines, IA; great-grandchild, Miles Cummings; brother, Roger Osterday of Toledo; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister, Betty Harmon.
