Michael Lewis Harl, 54, of Windsor, IL, passed away at 11:15 AM Sunday Feb. 22, 2015 in Shelby Memorial Hospital in Shelbyville, IL.

Michael was born May 22, 1960 in Shelbyville, IL, the son of Lewis Franklin and Phyllis June Cole Harl Jr.

He was an outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish.

For 27 years he was employed at International Paper Co. in Shelbyville, and before that, he worked for S. J. Groves Construction in Springfield, IL.He was a gifted carpenter welder and mechanic and could build or fix anything.

Surviving is his spouse Karen Agney; children: Rachele (Jeremy) BeDell of Bruceville, IN, Michelle (Jesse) Ruffner of Altamont, IL, Danielle (Jared) Wells of Lakewood, IL, Arielle (Dayne) Huckaba of Neoga, IL, Chantelle (Nathan Laskowski) of Mt. Zion, IL, and Shelby Mitchell of Charleston, IL; grandchildren: Adelita June, Gage Michael, Cali Jo, Ava Lynn, Sierah Paishance, Kyle Mason, Zion Dean and Linkin Alexander; father and step-mother, Lewis Franklin and Dorothy Harl; brother: Eugene Franklin Harl of Shelbyville.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Gabrielle Aliese Harl and mother Phyllis June Seals.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday February 27, 2015 in Lovins-Lockart Funeral Home in Windsor, IL.Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until the time of service on Friday in the funeral home.Burial will be in Windsor Cemetery.Memorials may be made to the Family.On line condolences:www.lockartgreenfuneralhome.com
