Evelyn Faye Fuller, 92, of Decatur, IL passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus at 11:18 p.m. (July 18, 2014) at the Decatur Memorial Hospital.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery near Shelbyville. Arrangements are by Lockart-Green Funeral Home, Shelbyville.
Evelyn (Faye) was born September 4, 1921 in Mode IL to Sherman and Alice Mummel Rentfro.
She was a homemaker but most of all she was a wonderful Mother to her four children.
Faye married William H. Fuller October 28, 1944 in Decatur and had 57 years together. William preceded her in death March 15, 2001 and as her children knew he was waiting for Mom, as he told her if he went first he would walk slow so she could catch up.
She is survived by her son, Robert Fuller and wife Karen; daughters Mary Sparks and husband Phil, Debbie Emberton and boyfriend Marvin (Chief) all of Decatur; grandchildren, Bob and Tonya Fuller, Phillip Sparks, Joe Borders and Jennifer, Melissa Borders all of Decatur, Mary Ann Fuller, Billie Fuller and Matt Fuller all of Arkansas; four step-grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son William Fuller, brother, George Rentfro, Byron Rentfro and sisters, Anna Mae Lentz and Violet Tipsword.
