Billy R. Fraker, 80, of Windsor passed away at 2:59 p.m. Thursday (March 10, 2011) at St. Mary’s Hospital, Decatur.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Windsor Cemetery with military rites. Rev. Richard Eident will officiate. Private family visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the Lovins-Lockart Funeral Home, Windsor. Memorials may be made to the Sullivan American Legion.

He was born November 30, 1930 in Moultrie County the son of Thomas and Edna Earl (Tilford) Fraker. He married Betty I. Whitlatch in 1953 in Springfield and she preceded him in death December 14, 2010.

He served in the US Army during the Korean War in Germany. He was a member of the Sullivan VFW Post # 6410, Sullivan American Legion Post # 68 and the Mattoon Moose Lodge. He was retired from Quantum Chemical in Tuscola.

Surviving are son, Robert Fraker of Windsor; grandchildren, Austin and Colton of Texas and Chastity and Travis of Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, sons, Michael, Patrick and Eric, two brothers and one sister.
