Terrie Jean Duncan, 59, of Windsor passed away at 9:56 p.m. Sunday (August 2, 2015) in her home surrounded by her family.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday in the Windsor Christian Church with Pastor Jeff Brookins officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the Church and one hour before service time on Friday. Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warriors or the family. Lovins-Lockart Funeral Home, Windsor is in charge of arrangements.
Terrie was born January 3, 1956 in Shelbyville the daughter of Floyd Markley and Irma Pauline (Brownlee) Sphar. She married Lawrence Dwaine Duncan December 31, 1982 in Shelbyville.
Terrie graduated from Shelbyville High School and was a member of the Windsor Christian Church and the Windsor American Legion Auxiliary. She was formerly employed at the Windsor Schools, CEFS and Farm Resource. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and enjoyed crafts, painting and her dog, Ellie Mae.
Surviving are her husband, Larry; daughters, Ashley Dawn Rincker (Kevin) of Strasburg and Amanda Diane McDaniel (William) of Windsor; son, Andrew Dale Duncan (Danielle Standerfer) of Sullivan; grandchildren, Kloey Jean McDaniel, Zoey Grace McDaniel, Kaitlyn McDaniel, Harper Reese Standerfer and two on the way; brothers, Jim Sphar (Twila) of Shelbyville, Jack Sphar (Janice) of Arcola and Rick Sphar (Glenda) of Shelbyville; sisters, Vickie Redman (Larry) of Shelbyville and Connie Hall of Shelbyville; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Bill Sphar.
