Vera Dodd, 81, of Windsor passed away at 1:11 p.m. Saturday (December 3, 2011) at the Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Care Center, Coles County.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday in the Lovins-Lockart Funeral Home, Windsor with Rev. Richard Eident officiating Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will be in French Cemetery, Moultrie County. Memorials may be made to the Windsor Christian Church.

She was born December 1, 1930 in Shelby County the daughter of Arthur and Esther (Robinson) Arganbright. She married Walter E. Dodd January 24, 1982 and he preceded her in death July 23, 1982.

She was a member of the Windsor Christian Church and the Rebekah Lodge. She was retired from Illinois Consolidated Telephone Co.

Surviving are nieces and nephews, Ralph Tripp of Findlay, Ann Planitz (Mike) of Greenville, Harold Tripp (Sharon) of New Berlin, David Tripp and Steve Tripp (Janet) of Windsor, Esther Dickman (Fred) of Altamont and Thomas Arganbright (Sandy) of Watson; sister-in-law, Gene Arganbright of Shelbyville; 7 great-nieces and nephews; 9 great-great-nieces and nephews; two step-daughters, Terry Mundy (Bill) of Sullivan and Tony Riley of Bethany.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Walter, sister, Mary Tripp, brothers, Thomas Arganbright and Dwight Arganbright.
