Clayton C. O. “Butch” Canada, 68, of Shelbyville, IL, passed away at 10:48 AM Sunday Nov. 14, 2010 in Decatur Memorial Hospital in Decatur, IL.

Butch was born Nov. 10, 1942 in Decatur, IL the son of Ted A. and Virgie Lee Harmon  Canada.

He married Linda Kay Tipsword on April 18, 1970 in Shelbyville.

Butch formerly did repair and maintenance at Spracklen TV in Shelbyville.

He was an avid CB`er and his handle was “Trader”.

Butch is survived by his wife Linda; sons: Clayton A. Canada of Shelbyville, Patrick W. Canadaand wife Deanna of Newton, IL and Benjamin L. Canada of Beecher City; grandchildren: Christopher William Canada, Lydia Grace Canada, Payton Michael Canada and Chelsea Madison Marie Canada; brothers and sisters: Marilyn Hudson and husband Bob of Shelbyville, Charles O. Canada and wife Lola of Tacoma, WA, Sandy Smith and husband Lloyd of Assumption, IL, Jean Day and husband Bob of Beecher City, Donna Alan Bourey of Boulder, CO, Steve Canada and wife Theresa of Shelbyville and John Lowe and wife Darcy of Decatur, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Mike Canada and Bill Lowe and step-father William “Tuffy” Lowe.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday Nov. 19, 2010 in Lockart-
