Mary Jane Campbell, 68, of Cowden passed away at 12:09 p.m. Sunday (December 19, 2010) at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the Free Methodist Church in Cowden with Pastor Steve Neville officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Church. Burial will be in Mound Cemetery, Cowden. Arrangements are by Lockart-Green Funeral Home, Cowden.

She was born February 25, 1942 in Staunton the daughter of Harry Donald and Ada Violet (Nettleton) Fahnestock. She married Paul Eugene Campbell March 13, 1961 in Lincoln.

S he was a homemaker and loved fishing, camping and the outdoors. She was a loving wife and devoted mother.

Surviving are her husband, Paul: children, Jim Binsadolf of Georgia, Paul Campbell Jr of Texas, Ada Jane McKinney of Decatur, Paula Mary True of Stonington, James Campbell of Centralia, Karl Campbell of Taylorville, John Richard Campbell of Cowden, Pamela V Daniels of Herrick, Harry Joe Campbell of Decatur, Krisa K Woods of Decatur, Tabatha Nicole Kendall of Tennessee and; brother, Jerry Freeman of Nashville; sisters, Jackie Sue Uthe of Washburn, IA and Alice Auld of Poplar Bluff, MO; 37 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, James Fahnestock.
