Virginia M. Barnett, 75, of Windsor passed way at 1:55 p.m. Monday (August 25, 2014) at the Heartland Christian Village, Neoga.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday in the Windsor Cemetery with Rev. Francis Farney officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the Lovins-Lockart Funeral Home, Windsor. Memorials may be made to First Apostolic Church in Sullivan.
She was born August 2, 1939 in Shelbyville the daughter of Rex and Maudie (Hudson) Donaker. She married Robert Bly. She then married Robert Burnett and he preceded her in death.
She was a member of the First Apostolic Church in Sullivan, VFW Auxiliary and Women of the Moose in Shelbyville. She formerly worked at Sta-Rite Ginnie Lou in Shelbyville, B & B Distributing in Mattoon, managed the Clark Gas Station in Charleston and Peace-Meal in Windsor.
Surviving are her children, Cheryl Logsdon of Windsor, Teresa Brown of Windsor, Robert (Candice) Bly of Towanda, Penny (Alec) Ingram of Windsor and Paula Chasteen of Shelbyville; brothers, James (Joyce) Donaker of Mulkey Town and Phillip Donaker of Shelbyville; sister Tona (Ray) Burmaster of Shelbyville; 16 grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 6 step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister, Eleanor Ann Donaker, 2 great-grandchildren and 1 step-great-grandchild.
